About Me

Hi, I'm Julie

I’m a dreamer. I love to wonder about things and ask what’s possible.

I’m also a writer, mentor, and certified youth life coach who specializes in working with dancers—and those who support them.

I grew up dancing, became a dance teacher, and owned a dance studio for sixteen years. I will forever be a dancer at heart.

I love coaching dancers because I understand their unique challenges and opportunities. Learn more here about how I help teens and young adults thrive in their art, and in life.

I love writing about my life experiences in dance, entrepreneurship, and lots of stuff in between. Laugh, cry, shake your head, or commiserate with me on my blog, Moral of the Story.

I love to read books and I love the beach. Reading books on the beach is what I consider to be the ultimate pastime. Dancing on the beach is a close second.

I’m a Libra, and true to the stars, I love striving for balance.

I still subscribe to the newspaper. Yes, the actual newspaper made of paper. My day isn’t complete without it!
